Job Description
Impulse Trading Co. is a leading lumber and plywood distribution center with a focus on products designed for custom sport-fishing yachts and home building trades. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team.
Impulse Trading Co. is committed to providing our customers with the best possible products and services. This year, we are looking to further our selection of marine-grade products and accessories, as well as expanding into the home building industry.
We are seeking a delivery Driver who is passionate about the marine and home building industries, and eager to help us grow our business. If you have experience in these industries, or have a strong interest in learning about them, we would love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with driving a larger truck. CDL is not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Ideal candidate should be customer service oriented.
· Ability to communicate with customers effectively.
· Ability to drive a forklift safely and effectively to load, unload and move materials in the warehouse. (Training will be supplied on site)
· Assist with unloading incoming deliveries as needed.
· Able to operate and balance a cash register.
· Inside sales experience with basic knowledge of lumber and plywood
and how it is used in the cabinet and marine trades is a plus.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

§ Valid current driver's license and clean driving record

§ Good with your hands, basic mechanical skills.

Education/Experience:
Must have High School Diploma.
Language Ability:
Ability to speak, read and understand English. Ability to communicate effectively with managers and employees.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions.
